HotThread ABS is an extra strong, impact resistant filament that is ideal for 3D printing. ABS, which stands for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a widely used thermoplastic polymer that is widely used in the industry thanks to its process stability and physical features. HotThread ABS filament is particularly suitable for tools, toys and all kinds of utensils. Printed at a slightly over average temperature for ABS, HotThread ABS give extra strong 3D print results with reduced warping compared to regular ABS.

HotThread ABS comes neatly rolled onto a high quality transparent spool in a sealed box.

Size and Diameter

HotThread filament is available in both 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameter sizes which respective tolerances of ±0.05mm and ±0.10mm. Both sizes have a guaranteed roundness of >95% ensuring the filament always feeds through your machine smoothly. Both the diameter and roundness is measured accurately during the production process and is continuously corrected in order to guarantee the exact roundness and thickness of the filament.
