Filament Not Extruding or Under Extruding
Zortrax M200
There are a couple of different ways that extrusion problems can occur on your Zortrax M200 3D printer.
A few signs that you may be experiencing extrusion problems.
To resolve extrusion problems there are a few processes that can be carried out.
Sometimes simply unloading and reloading the filament can be enough to solve the problem. Don’t forget to cut the end of the filament at an angle.
It may be that a little bit of filament is stuck in the extruder. To check this remove the 4 screws on the extruder motor and slide the motor out as shown in the images.
The next part to check for a blockage is the nozzle. It is suggested that you change your nozzle every 6 or 7 spools of filament, or even sooner if you have used different types of material such as Z-ULTRAT, Z-HIPS, Z-GLASS, etc.
